The Prime Minister’s Rural Development Fellows (PMRDFs) serve district administration in improving service delivery and interface with Marginalised sections of the population in backward and isolated regions of India. By their work in the field as well as through their simultaneous participation in an academic programme. Through field experience gained they enhance their knowledge in development practice and skill as development facilitators.
Currently, there are 226 PMRD Fellows working in 111 districts across 18 states.
“Scripting Change” is a document that captures the essence of work done by the Fellows, through visual stories, produced by the Ministry of Rural Development. This was released by the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi on February 8, 2016.
